This system is the closest to being as compact and lightweight as a laptop computer compared to other portables. It weighs 6.6 lbs with the battery and is only 1.7 inches thick, the thinnest and lightest portable ultrasound machine on the market. Other features of note are the Zone Sonography Technology (ZST+) platform, solid-state hard drive, dedicated veterinary presets, and a wide range of transducers for multiple imaging applications. The Vetus E7 has a 15.6-inch LED wide monitor and a 12.3-inch touch screen to view presets and customized content.
